“A bad system will beat a good person every time.” — W. Edwards Deming

Tired of a 5S program that keeps failing?

No matter how dedicated a few committed employees are, they will never change the habits of hundreds of others on their own. Cultural change requires a system that holds it together, not a handful of people exhausted from shouting.

Story of Disiplean

01

Every program stopped within two months.

We brought in consultants and ran training after training. Within two months, the program stopped as if it never happened. Accidents kept happening, old habits stayed the same, and the committee grew tired of reminding people every day.

02

So we built it ourselves, in our own plant.

Disiplean was born at Duta Laserindo Metal — our own manufacturing plant — out of a need to make 5S reporting simple, transparent, and trackable every day. Once it pulled us out of the same problem, we decided to share it.

03

Disiplean was born.

A digital platform for 5S reporting and audits, powered by gamification that keeps employees motivated — so a 5S culture can truly take root and last. Built on the production floor, for factories fighting the same pain.

A Disiplean culture stands on three pillars

Knowledge sets direction. System makes it run. Motivation keeps it alive.

Knowledge

Every culture needs a shared foundation. We bring the fundamentals of 5S, leadership training, and coaching for the management committee — so they’re ready to lead the program forward on their own.

System

Report 5S findings from the floor in seconds. Every finding has a clear owner, a measurable follow-up, and full visibility through a web dashboard — no more Excel files lost or WhatsApp messages buried.

Designed Motivation

We don’t wait for natural motivation — we design it. Gamification built on the same principles that make trends go viral: healthy inter-department competition, instant recognition, and daily wins. The result: a habit that spreads because employees actually enjoy it.

Escalate Level Quarterly

Reset

Track. Escalate. Measure Impact.

Unresolved findings automatically escalate to the right level. Every action is tracked, every outcome measured through analytics.

"My workload is already overwhelming. Why must I take on yet another task?"

Core question: how do we make people move without constant pressure?

Not a typical incentive system. Behavioral design that makes participation feel rewarding, not burdensome.

More than a game mechanic.

Points are configured by management. Different zones = different weights. High-risk safety findings = higher points.

Implementation and Sustainability

1

Assessment

A discovery interview to measure how mature your organization is, understand where your 5S stands today, and set a clear target and roadmap together.

2

Set Up

Registering locations, employee phone numbers, forming the committee, and aligning management involvement.

3

Training

Covers theory, commitment, activity descriptions, role assignments, gemba practice, and 5S meetings.

4

Review

Evaluating how the 5S program is running, the maturity of the organization, the integrity of findings, and the level of management involvement. We provide feedback so the organization can carry the program forward on its own.

What they're saying

"With Disiplean, we're not just raising every employee's awareness (about practicing 5S & workplace safety) but also building stronger ownership."

Ms. SG

QC Leader & 5S Committee Chair

"Disiplean has been incredibly helpful. Our 5S implementation has improved significantly. We can revisit the history of everything we've done. Whatever falls below standard or needs improvement — we can see all of it in those records."

Mr. SY

Production Manager

"With 5S improving through the app, we can boost efficiency, productivity, and create a positive, safe, and comfortable work culture. Safety in the Finishing division has become even stronger."

Mr. SB

Finishing Operator

"Digital transformation is cultural transformation. That includes 5S culture, on-time culture, communication culture, transparency culture. Everyone is willing to do 5S, and with the app (Disiplean), real transparency happens. We're no longer hesitant to call someone out when something's wrong."

Mr. TL

Director
